Results-Based Management Training
We abhor the use of Results-Based Management (RBM) as a reporting system. For this reason, we offer a comprehensive support package for organisations adopting results-based management that includes:
A five day training course covering six modules
A one day training in software use for effective RBM implementation
A three-day course in the work-breakdown structure and budgeting
An on-demand support programme that allows clients to call for RBM support when it is most relevant for the organisation (project design, planning, progress reviews, or reporting.
Strategic Planning and Management
We offer this course as a precursor to strategic planning to avoid developing strategic plans that have no buy-in. By taking this course an organisation can prepare it's staff for strategic planning in a non-threating context that allows for wider participation. Participants learn about the purpose of strategic planning, the tools for strategic planning, and roles in strategic management.
When run ahead of strategic planning the course improves the richness of the strategic planning process and enhances ownership.
Governance Development
Effective implementation of strategy requires effective governance. We offer courses to stengthen governance in non-profit organisations. Our course primarily focus on the roles and functions of the board and strengthening the confidence of board members.
Presentation Skills and Report Writing
We offer a short course on presentation skills to enable technically compent managers to effectively communicate their ideas and projects. The presentation skills course is complement by a Report Writing course aimed at ensuring project reports achieve their purposes.
